nothing important just making sure that i am

heard a crash, went to investigate.......a large bottle in the shape of a tall cat.....which holds wine by the way.....fell of the top of the frig and landed on an antique sugar bowl.......the kitty wine bottle is fine, but the sugar bowl got busted to smithereens......!

clean up on aisle five...........last night at bedtime i was having some migraine symptoms......a yellow aura, brain pain, so i took a migraine tab and blessedly crashed out .......this morning my brain was quiet.......with lots of pressure bearing down.  ......later i took some mucinex and got back in bed......between the sinus pressure and the nausea i needed some time in the fetal position.

to the good, this is day two of less back pain......less down the leg pain too........don't know if it's gone or simply resting until i go out again and do regular walking.  guess we'll see.

when i got out of bed i decided to get dressed......bye bye jammies, hello street clothes.  chose a long purple dress with pockets.....it's a soft t shirt like cotton style......added a pink sweater, some silver earrings......and continued on with my soft slippers.  going through cold hands and feet more than usual lately......the reynauds is here & living large.

i know this is not exciting or interesting, i really do, but in my own little world it helps me to talk it out.  note it and try to keep on with life.  supposed to go pick up my xarelto but i don't think i'll be driving today.  tomorrow is soon enough and if not there's always the day after that.....right?  of course right!

this is me reassuring me that a day or two doesn't matter......keep your cool and listen to music!  right now i'm listening to james taylor and carly simon singing mocking bird........find my head bobbing in a happy way,  this music is happy, uplifting, feels like they are right here singing for me........!!!!!!  i actually got to see james taylor live a few years back......invited sam and he loved it.  we went to Chastain Ampitheatre in Atlanta and it's a GREAT place to enjoy your favorite musicians!  my boss now in heaven used to gift me with tickets ......such a sharing sweetie he was!

the last time i made chicken wings i had such a hard time cutting them up.  so this time i told myself to get a grip, pray, and relax......amazingly it went very very well this time, thank you God!  ask and ye shall receive.  if the knife met with resistance i just lifted the blade and tried a slightly different angle......i was able to prep the wings in less than two minutes.  last time i broke out in a sweat and said some bad words leading me to an imaginary confessional where the imaginary priest had me saying hail mary's.......i'm not catholic but i've watched so many catholic moments on tv that whenever i say bad words i feel it's only right to confess and make things right asap with Him.

the wings will be in the oven for an hour........the cat kids are enjoying their sunday dinner right now.......i ordered two small ceramic planters, some shampoo & conditioner and a trimmer thingy for ladies.  it trims eye brow hair and such.  online shopping is awesome and at times feel very dangerous.  gotta chill out and not get carried away.

still no gift for my son in law......wish it was easier to decide and get 'er done.  i need two coco plant liners for outside and found some at Joann's Fabric Store for under $2 each.  AWESOME price......they sell the same ones online starting at $10........but this means i need to make a road trip to snellville......it's about 30 minutes away.  i didn't know a fabric store would have a garden department but they do.....huh.

the song playing right now has some great horns in the background.......love that big jazzy soulful sound!  a hundred years ago at a little place where i waitressed there was a shy sandy blonde headed boy named joe.  he asked me out, i was seeing someone else at the time and to be honest never considered Joe one way or the other.  wrapped up in some other bachelor.........then years later i was back in santa barbara visiting........my good friend Lynda took me to hear this band.......they were amazing.  a big swing band.....all those gorgeous horns.  the guys put on a real show, they choreograhed their movements, great little dance moves, turns.....horns swinging in time to the sounds they made...........and then they jumped on top of the long mahogany bar and really went to town playing their horns......it was a real shows stopper.......i kept thinking how cute the main guy was.......that's when Lynda said, " Remember him????"

He looked so familiar.........it was Joe.  Joe, the quiet shy dishwasher.........leading this incredible band, playing that horn with such skill and talent.  Go Joe.......Go!  So funny, Sam & Sara's dad used to play horn too........guess there was always going to be a musical man in my life.  Their Dad could pretty much play anything...guitar, the organ, his piano skills were awesome.  sorry I am as usual all over the place.  my eyes are so weird today......hard to focus correctly, feel like the migraine is still trying to get through.......and can't for the life of me figure out anything that would have set it off.  nothing different in food world........so what happened?  clueless.......

this is an ok day.........i keep bopping from room to room in segments.  been watching all in the family via you tube.  forgot how much i loved watching that show............hugs, stay cool...........thank God to the inventor of A/C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
