nothing has changed
We're iced in again -- haven't been anywhere since church Sunday morning. When we left the morning services, trees and fences were already icing over. Church was cancelled Sunday night. We're not going to church tonight. We can't even get to the highway. I have a prescription med that was ready to pick up Monday morning. If our driveway and side road don't melt, I'll have to re-order and start all over again.
Everything else is still the same. I don't know any more about the move and Tim (my husband) still won't talk to me about it: status of our current house, housing in eastern Ky, insurance, doctors, medications, internet, pets ... nothing. Being a female and a mom with health problems and all of my care and family connections in this area, I can't stop obsessing about it.

OH, I\'im so sorry you\'re still dealing with the ice stuff. At least THAT has stopped in MONJA. It\'s been terrible this winter. Hopefully in one month, this nonsense will stop.
I sure do miss seeing you here! But the quickie journal lets us know that you are hanging in there. Everything is still the same, eh? Not always the best. news, but I\'ll put a positive spin on it by saying that if it hasn\'t gotten any worse, it may be a good thing! I sure do hope so.
It\'s hard not to obsess about things when we\'re sick and exhausted and trying to deal with getting UP......never mind all the rest of the day to day crappola that healthy people have trouble with as well.
Come back soon! Sending you BIG HUGS! xoxo
We had more snow last night and it\'s still really cold here - I know how you\'re feeling with being stuck in the house. I can imagine how frustrated you feel being in the dark about the potential move and all the work involved and upheaval you\'d be facing. Would your husband talk to your pastor with you? I\'ve had friends who were in similar situations as yours getting counsel and often the pastor teaches that the Lord isn\'t leading anyone into a big move or a major life change unless the spouse is hearing the same thing from God.
Glad to hear from you! I\'m sorry things are so hard right now. I can imagine how difficult it is to stop thinking about it all. Especially, when our illnesses so often keep us from doing things that we could get distractedby and temporarily lost in. When it happens to me, I try to break the loop. Is there something you could do like draw or paint? I find forcing myself to try something creative (when physically able) sort of turns off the ruminating. Forces my brain to shift gears and then my spirit usually follows. Even a short break from the worries frees up space for something good to come in. Serce mentioned finger painting in her journal. How fun! Or how about writing? Doesn\'t have to be here. You\'ve gone through so much and overcome so much. Maybe you could write about something you\'ve gone through and became stronger as a result? Or a silly story about the crazy birds or a funny experience?
I posted some videos on my journal that might make you giggle. :)
I do miss your bright light around here but I understand. Please know we want to hear about you and how you\'re doing. Even if nothing seems to be changing. Come here and vent it out! You\'re supported.
Warmest hugs to you Pilot...

hi.........you\'ve really been on my mind lately.......i\'ve been a sick little bird (not online much)........but i seem to stop and think about you honey and then i bow my head and say a prayer.
if he isn\'t opening up.......then take it to the Lord in prayer. ask the Lord to help you find peace..........get still and quiet and hand this big big big weight over to HIM.......surrender it all........to God. say a prayer for yourself and for your mate and for your family and for the potential move..............
and then do something unexpected......order a bop bag online, like say Bozo the Clown, once it arrives, BOP it twenty times and if that feels pretty good, do it some more.......! i\'m thinking it might be just the thing to save my sanity...........we need ways to let out the tension............to relieve worry/stress...........tell God this is tooooo big, toooo hard and he WILL help you..........God is known for ingenious answers and solutions. so when you do that..........get prepared, put on your seat belt.......cause God will answer.
sending soft hugs, soothing candles.........bath salts..........great music and prayers in care of all that is .........and prayers for all that will be.......love u, your little sparrowpal down in MONGA!!!! xoxoxo.......and yes, finger painting does sound like FUN.........i think it would be fun to paint some BODY .....or paper. paper is really more the norm.........but sigh, i\'m in the mood to do some thing a little wild...........and off the hook.........miss u, xoxoxo.
