notes

i'm having a crisis right now. well a small one. i wish i could talk to my therapist but

i'll write here. Perhaps it's because I ate a lot of sugar today (mince pies and ginger shortbreads) and some Guiness (alcohol)

and I've been pretty active since 5am this morning. Now 243pm.

I am trying to learn new things, trying to be responsible for my life

and also put my best foot forward by making the life I want to live...create my own world

so to speak.. I don't know if I am demanding too much of myself - trying to cut myself some slack

so that everything I am choosing to do has the weight of a major decision.

I think I am just tired. I've been running the whole day - and yes my therapist and I have talked

about some major issues lately - so maybe I am just experiencing some transition with

all that while living my regular weekend days (which are never regular...sort of.)

Anyways, I think I might take another shower and get in my pajamas. I'll treat myself well.

peace everybody!

it's not even 3pm - I'll wait a couple hours before getting in the shower. lol

It takes me a while to unwind after a busy day, regardless of the tones of the busy buzz. Not a good time to be making big life decisions.

A few extra hours in my pj's makes a more intelligent speed after a busy day in Arflandia. I loves my pj's. I have more pj's than dress clothes. Stripes are my thing this season. I tell my hubby I'm planning a prison break.

Sometimes ya gotta say, "WTF."

Flannel rocks but so does seer sucker, velour, fleece and a bunch of other fabrics, too. Loves my pj's. I'm one of those cretins who wears pj's in public. Don't you dare try to tell me my flannel nightgown is less decent than a g-string bikini. Don't make me get out my soapbox.

Did ya hear those g-string swimsuits were outlawed in Florida? Too many women were getting cut in half. Makes a serious mess on a beach.

Taking the time to rest, even in the daytime can often bring the calm.

I've done it when I've needed to.

Here's to finding what works!

And, when I notice my mood change with eating those foods that bring on different views, I take a short walk, drink something, and move around a bit, to help it move along. And, that 'tired' feeling comes from doing, eating, and changing, so it's normal!

It's perfectly ok to get into your pjs at 3pm and relax the rest of the day. Have a good Sunday.
