Notes

Just writing notes that really uncovered some spots in my outlook for a happier strength about my daily life. 'The only mind,' (I call the mindset that I have had) had me thinking that my mind and self was without comparison just in its essential self. Then upon questioning myself (and the appreciation of others) of that point I see a clearer vantage on how I've taken care of my life. I see how and the way I and others would like things to go in our lives might, in the anticipation of that fantasy of the desired result, it can set us up for disappointment if it's not mitigated by the holding two thoughts in my head or at least a generality and the risk of the goal.

I have found with an unbridled sense I will allow my fantasy to be crushed as well as my personal direction, that happens when meeting any adversity. With my previous outlook the the negative feedback could shut me down.

For me, I know that I have tried to set myself up in life to be safe. Whether it was buying a small condo or saving money, I've had a conservative outlook I'm realizing. Perhaps it's just prudence.

But now I'm seeing it and appreciating it in terms of the accommodation I have made for my own temperament and ability.

do I live in a smalltown vs big town ?

Do I live in a monastery vs common life?

Preparing a life for myself in regards of the risk I  like to take is important to be awake to.

How I  like to live, it is important for me to know in the aspect of the building of a life for myself. I know I like security.

I’m also realizing in my daily activities I am either putting energy out there with the people around me or putting it on myself when I am alone.

I can't mistake this habit for something else as it will cloud my mind. The attention I have given this along with my reasonings has helped me though. It has helped me as now I have the understanding of the forces in me. How this affects my clarity for envisioning and taking care of my life is also the result.

I know we all have to do that for ourselves - we all have to assess how much chances or risk we can live with.

i like security but I'm able to name it now.

And i can estimate my risk on certain things and see how others are risking too.

And it’s all ok now. I don’t feel powerless or totally risk averse.

Writing all this stuff out made me all subjective about things but I know I can come back and get on with work.

Tread water and get back to swimming:).

All this may be one aspect of a life lesson. I’m recognizing having a conscience and keeping aware of my humanity and care for other humans is essential for me.
It’s amazing how we are all different people, with different temperaments and abilities and yet we can all work together! That’s what I was thinking about and I do feel a calling about helping and caring for my fellow man.

You might be interested in the study of Freud where he talks about his theory of personality as three distinct, yet interconnected, components: the id, ego, and superego. These three aspects, rather than two, represent the different forces that shape an individual's personality and behavior. In acim which is what I am studying now, it talks about the ego, the Holy Spirit and we are the observer or decision maker and every day with every decision we make we are choosing to align with one or the other, either Heaven or Hell....Love or Fear. It's pretty interesting.
