notes

I’ve been thinking about how the loved ones i have in my life won’t always be there.

It sure inspires some gratitude and appreciation for them.

For some reason I am reminding myself of my grandmother who probably was on the autism spectrum. She may have been humble but she built a stable life for herself, with people who cared for her all around. Not ‘flash’ but authentic and real. There are so many examples in the media of how your life should be. I’ve got a sense of my variability

And that makes me feel like a phony at the monastery this morning, but I’ll keep on keeping on.

I don’t think you need to feel like a “phony” because a loved one’s memory sparks something innate in you. Learn to live with both ideas and call it markaroni, I’d say.

i solidly feel that loved ones are always here for me, whether they are physically present or knot. once you have found a place in my heart, i will carry you with me forever, even when i wish you'd get your tacky ass out of my heart.

A saving grace for me to cope during services today was thinking ‘no more going to extremes’ thought wise or other. If I do it makes me feel like I should have all the answers, not healthy not fair either
IMy therapist had observed in me that going to extremes and it hit me today and I saw it and realized It doesn’t serve me.

We just do the best that we can

Appreciating those we love is important

At this time of year so much emphases is on family and traditions that it's on a lot of our minds

I frequently think of what was and I miss it BUT I sure have wonderful memories that Im thankful for
