I was thinking about relationships last night on the way home. How naturally I think we go for a meeting of minds and spark. But I thought also I thought it's probably good to go for someone, on top of those qualities, who can take good of life. Neither person in a relationship is perfect and each may struggle with certain aspects of managing life. Hopefully the two folks in a relationship would complement each other so that each provides for the other in aspects where they fall short.
On the drive home I also thought about the standard that I ask myself and the other to deal with. I think I need to be pretty compassionate with that. It's an illuminating idea! Something that's fair to me and them. I think I've been kind of blind in that area.

Marko, are you a control freak? It’s just a question. Don’t get mad hehe.
Nobody is perfect whatsoever, esp if they think they are. There is so much work in a relationship that effort must be put in and not just Done! Check! Next! I know some people who feed off the thrill of the hunt and pursuit then feel satisfied for a short time until it’s time to “pursue” again. The real “work” in life is to see who can work the reasons people get bored in life.
