Not too bad
BG staying in what is for me medium range -- about 170-180 fasting a.m. It's lower before supper, depending on what I eat, but I can't get it to lower down before lunch. Going to change my breakfast menu; maybe that will help. Still think it's time for me to do insulin, if only to see if it would resolve the dawn phenomenon. But I won't see primary doc until January, so I'll have to see if I can get better control over my diet. It would be easier if I weren't so hungry all the time! Meantime, just got a visit from one of those people I have tried to make friends with, only to discover that I really have nothing in common with her. There have been times in the past when we've enjoyed talking together. Today she came, we did one brief thing together, and suddenly her feet hurt and she had to leave. It's possible they were hurting but I know her -- if she'd wanted to spend more time with me she'd have come upstairs with me, taken off her shoes and rested her feet while we chatted. Instead I felt like she tried me out like a new flavor of gum and then discarded me when I wasn't as good as she wanted. I suppose the good news is that between feeling (otherwise) good today and having company coming, I did a little cleaning of the apartment that was overdue. The other good news is that logging on to DS after her visit has moved me from "bad" to "good" on the smiley-face scale. This community is such a terrific place!
