Not sure what the problem is...
This has been an awful week. I went to work on Monday, but had a car accident later that afternoon. Just a fender bender, but that means lots of paperwork. I have to wait a whole week to find who the police think was at fault. There was an island wide blackout so no traffic lights were working.
Then I wake up Tuesday morning and I can lift my head without getting really dizzy and nauseous. I got my parents to come over and take me to my ENT. He said it was caused when the bones in the inner ear get dislodged and then you can't maintain balance. He also said the triggers for dizziness and nausea were very close the the brain and one tends to go with the other. He gave me meds.
I went back to work on Thursday, but still do not feel well. My parents are driving me to work because I cannot drive while dizzy. I have already used up 8 of my 10 sick days for the year, so I have to go to work.
On Thursday, the doctor that was treating me at the hospital called to inquire why I had missed 2 appointments. I just feel pushed in one direction without being given options. She is a good doctor, and she calls to check on patients, but she is hard to reach when you need her. Last week the hospital refused to help me find her even though I was being treated by her at the hospital - ie they were getting all the money for it.
I am starting to feel that some of my illness now is delayed side effects of the gentamicin. I don't know why they don't monitor patients more closely when administering this drug. I feel dizzy, nauseous and feverish at times. Doctors only seem to treat what they can clearly see on paper. In the meantime, patients suffer needlessly.
I am thinking of going to my gyne for a physical but right now, I don't think he can help. Maybe I need a more naturalistic approach to get back all the good bacteria I was stripped of. That urgency to urinate is almost gone, but I still have those pills on order. I mean - they worked before, so maybe they will prevent another attack.
Thanks for reading this. I hate not being able to do stuff around the house and for my kids.
Love and Hugs to all,
Rosa

Sorry you are having a rough time. I am also having some physical problems. I will be praying.
Thanks so much.
Sorry you are going through all of this. Prayers.
so sorry you are having such a terrible time. this is a lot to deal with and work at the same time. My prayers are with you. I glad you weren\'t hurt in the accident. Hope you have things go well with bladder issues and inner ear problems. I have them and I have a hard time walking, balance, dizziness. Hugs. Big gentle hugs.
I read that Vit C, like 4000 mg a day will help uti\'s. I am taking it now but it\'s only been about a week so I can\'t tell if it\'s helping or not. To me my urine still smells strong. I wish you would get to feeling better. It\'s no fun I know. Many prayers going out for you. Hugs!!
Hope by now you are doing better...You are right dr\'s should monitor patients on medication better... As for reaching a dr who isn\'t available. that \' s awful & frustrating.
