not sure if this is normal
I got up at 5am today - snoozed until 530a then showered and dressed
and went down to chapel for set up. Then had services - then a 40 minute break.
I talked to the Abbess and had a cup and a half of coffee. Then went to services,
then went to the trapeza (cafeteria) for morning meal - then went up to my room
to clean up the place - did laundry and got the room all in shape - then went
to Frederick to wash the car - then went to the Walmart to buy TP for the
monastery- then came home delivered the toilet paper -
and took some up for my bathroom - then wrote some emails and texts
and now I am waiting for my therapist to come online at 340p.
I am feeling tired or just like I want to do something relaxing and not
work oriented. I'd love to throw on a fire in the fireplace (if I had one) and
just chill with a friend with a glass of cabernet and some nibbles with - the eating's not s important-
I could really go for that laidback stuff -
I suppose it's just normal to kind of wind down after a long time being awake?
I'm tired of go go go - so something relaxing or a strong cup of coffee to get me
ready for the upcoming services prep at 430p would be great.
I'll make a small pot after my online meeting.
My therapist is getting me aware of doing nice things for myself like that -
You can be go go go - but you also need to take care of yourself....
I ate something not good for me as a way to deal with stress a couple weeks
ago -and she said "you need to have an emergency bag of m&ms at the ready!"
So true. I like her thinking! Don't know why I have to so consciously relax at times -but I guess that's normal?
I can get so occupied because my energy and anxiety is pushing me along to keep busy - and I just keep
on keeping on and don't stop -
but then I guess when I start to feel either stressed from boredom or just doing a lot
during the day - I suppose we need to nurture ourselves along....hygge!!
Things are ok -
