Not Really Better...
I have been through a lot in the last few days. While taking the IV meds on Tues and Wed I was not even checked by a doctor. The staff hooked up the drugs, let the drip go in me, and then took everything out. By Wednesday night, the drugs were really taking a toll on me - nausea, fatigue, feverish. I didn't have the doctor's phone number, but I emailed her with my symptoms and asked her to call me with any test results she may have. She replied back that she would call me. When she didn't call, I headed to the hospital. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Since she was the doctor treating me through the hospital and not privately, I thought they could assist me in contacting her. No can do. I had to either register for the ER or the sessional clinic. I registered for the ER and they still did not contact her for a long time. The decided to run tests to prove to me there was nothing wrong. The ER doctor kinda tossed the results of the blood, urine and CT scan at me telling me it was all normal and they were going to release me. I did see the original doctor briefly because she actually came on shift later. She has set me up to see a urologist, but I am sure this visit is a waste of time because I am pretty sure what I have now. He probably won't believe me anyway.
There is a condition known as Interstitial Cystitis. I once tried to pursue whether or not I had this. There was a similar scenario where I was diagnosed with a UTI and the infection cleared up but my symptoms didn't. I saw a doctor at the Cleveland Clinic in Fort Lauderdale who gave me some over the counter herbal pills. They worked a miracle on me. I have ordered them online a few times since.
I don't know why but it seems the medical profession is becoming all about the money for some. They keep making you come back and the co-pay is a lot higher if you use a hospital clinic instead of a private physician. There was not reason to force me to check in to the ER just because I wanted test results. I have spent a fortune so far and it seems even though the hospital has my records, it is so hard for the next doctor to find any information on my case. I keep starting over.
I need to find some of those pills....NOW!
And to make the week even worse, the local charity called to say there would be a doctor testing for Autism on Wednesday from 1-5pm. I arrive at 4pm to see her in her car about to pull off. We have to wait now until she does it again.
What a week! I hope my friends are doing much better that this.
Hugs to all.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. I will say a pray that you get the help you need and get to feeling better. When I go in for a uti it\'s usually when it has already gone through my body and I lose my mind. So they keep me over night and pump antibiotics into me. But I think you have another problem. I hope you can find them pills again. Hugs!!
i have IC. In US I took prescription Elmiron for six months. It usually takes three months to help. I had to have infusions of through a catheter into my bladder and lidocane and heparin put into my bladder. The Elmiron I take makes a lining of sots in my bladder. I don\'t know of herbal pills. I saw a top urologist. I wish I knew. Perhaps try the IC support group and ask them there. Someone has to know out of all those people. My IC is pretty good now but it was awful for a decade. When I went to the hospital and they didn\'t even know what to do. It terrible how it seems they still don\'t know what there doing. IC group is on DS. I really am sorry that you missed the Autism testing. I hope they will come back.
Life is NOT fair at all! I feel that the more we give, the less we end up with in this life! And the medical profession has become all about making money, instead of caring for the sick. Dearest Rosa, take a deep breath, and know that you are doing a great job caring for your family, while you are not well yourself. I will pray for you, that our Lord will bless you in every area of your difficult life!
Gentle hugs! xxx
I\'m sorry you are going threw so much. .that stinks.. You are right about dr\'s not doing things like they used to. Not sure if it\'s they are after the money.. .I think it\'s the pencil pushers who run the hospitals and ins. companies that make rules that make it difficult for dr\'s to do their jobs. I hope by now you got the pills you mentioned and you are feeling better
