Not Hypomanic

I slept most of the day today, so I'm not hypomanic. That's a good thing, since I don't see my doctor until next month. I'm not too worried. I do have to get my Depakote levels checked when I go back and see him, though. I'm supposed to get them done every 3 months or so. I got one done last month, so next month I should be due again. Last time was just after I increased it, and my levels were normal. I'm not too worried about them being high... I have good liver function and I normally process medications well. I didn't mind that I slept most of the day, because I needed the sleep. I feel nice and rested now, and I think I will sleep well tonight as well. I will see how tonight goes. I'm without klonopin for 2 nights now, so that's good. I want to have at least a couple more nights without it before I have to take it again. I don't know if it makes that much of a difference in the long run, but I do know that I don't want to get addicted to it so I have to be careful.
I did my 1.75 mile walk today for my C25K program. It went well. That's another reason I don't feel too bad for sleeping... I did get out and do my exercise and stretch afterwards, so I got the important stuff done. I also cooked dinner like I normally do and did what needed to be done around the house. Geo is also still depressed and sleeping all the time. He's sleeping almost as much as I normally do, which is way too much for him. He slept about 12+ hours today. I get that every now and then, but I need a lot of sleep. With him, the more he sleeps the more depressed he is. I get the same way too, but when I'm depressed I sleep over 14 hours a day. Today I slept about that, but I don't feel depressed. If I was depressed, I wouldn't have been able to go out and do my walk today.
It felt good to go out there and walk, too. I came back covered in sweat, but it was a good stress reliever. I just walked and listened to my music and everything was nice. I took some Gatorade with me and made sure to drink it all and drank more water when I got home. I walked for over 45 minutes. I'm down to about 27 minutes a mile now, when I first started I was over 35 minutes. I did a little over a mile in 41 minutes, now I'm doing 1.75 miles in 47 minutes. It's nice to see progress, and it's big progress IMO.
I'm listening to an old trigger song of mine. It came on, and I just wanted to see how it made me feel. It's "Perfect" by Simple Plan. It's just saying "I'm sorry I can't be perfect" and stuff like that. It used to make me cut back in the day, but now I'm listening to it and not feeling anything bad. I don't feel imperfect or flawed in any major way. I'm better off now mentally than I was then, I think. That, and Geo has helped me stop cutting and it's been years and years since I have. I used to cry listening to this song, feeling like it spoke to me. Now it's just another song in my playlist. If I hadn't recognized the opening for the song it was, then I think I would have just listened to it and not even realized that it was one of my old trigger songs. It's over now, replaced with Elton John's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight". I have a very random playlist, btw. I just wanted to write about that song while it was on, since it was on my mind. It seems like that was another person, another life. I'm different now, and that's good. I might be disabled now and having worse symptoms, but mentally I'm in a better state. I don't hurt myself anymore, for one, and I'm more independent for another.
I'm just feeling good today. I'm glad. I don't think the Prozac increase is kicking in already, but it's nice to know that I can feel good without going to an extreme. Oh, and I got good news today- My sister got her thesis approved! She's going to get her Psy.D next year now!  All she has to do is her internship which she has already been approved for and she's got it. I'm so happy for her. She's been working hard for many years to get her doctorate, and I'm glad she's going to get it. She's in disbelief that she doesn't have to go to school anymore- all she's been doing her whole life is going to school and (her adult life) working at the same time. I can't wait for her graduation. I'm going to do my best to be there for it.
Food- today I'm hungry and low on calories, but high on carbs. I had a chicken thigh for breakfast, a snack and dinner (lots of chicken lol!), wild rice for lunch and popcorn and lemon for another snack. I also had the Gatorade I mentioned above and some corn with dinner. I think I might have some frozen veggies and some sauce for another snack if I'm still hungry in a bit. I love me some veggies! I did good on water today, too. Stress- I feel good since I went for my walk and did my music thing. Sleep- got a lot, but needed it.
