Not feeling well
I'm back to 247.5 pounds... I don't know if I should be happy or sad. I've been stuck at this weight for a month now. I know I should be glad I'm not gaining (except for last week when I went up half a pound) but to be stuck at exactly the same weight is frustrating when you are trying to lose. I need to work harder at losing, but I'm doing everything I should be- eating in my calorie range, walking and working out, and doing strength training. I just want this weight to be gone already lol. I'm a bit impatient.
As for mood, I'm depressed today. Father's Day is coming up, which has been hard for me since I lost my dad 14 years ago. I just feel sick and I just want to curl up in bed and sleep. I slept for 10 hours last night, which was good, but then took a 2 or 3 hour nap. I'm still tired now and I could fall asleep right now if I wanted to, I think (it's about 9pm). I'm also having trouble eating. I was supposed to have a protein shake to help me get my protein for the day, and I'm having trouble with the idea of having it. I'm still going to be low on calories and stuff for the day if I do drink it, but at least it will help me get in the right direction. Maybe I should just go under calories for a couple days since I don't want to force food into my system when I feel sick.
That's another thing- I'm feeling sick. I'm nauseous, my throat is feeling a bit sore and my head has been hurting. I think it's all linked to the depression, though. I think that the depression is making me feel like crap physically as well as mentally. I'm out of Depakote and I will get more tomorrow, but it keeps me from going up, not down. I need more Prozac, I think. I didn't want to increase it, but it seems that my body is telling me I need more. I'm okay with my medications, but at the same time I don't want to be on more than I need to be on. It's not going to help me feel better to be drugged all the time.
I'm glad I got my fingerprints done on Friday since I'm going to be useless tomorrow I think. I mean that by not feeling well and not wanting to go out (except I have to to get my Depakote) but I think I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get my butt out of bed tomorrow and get my stuff done. I have to go to the store, too. I've been putting it off because I didn't have my food stamps, and then I went to get my fingerprints done, and then it was the weekend and the buses don't run often then. I should just make a quick run to the store, it shouldn't be that hard. I just need bread, milk, stuff like that. Publix has beans on sale, I wanted to get some of those. I like black beans and rice lately. It's one of the things I can eat when I'm not feeling well. I just have to make the rice, which is why I want a rice cooker, to make it easier on me (and have better rice)
Stress wasn't too bad today... I just was depressed, so I don't know if that's stress related or not. I don't know if the grief I feel over Father's Day is stress related or not. I don't even know what stress is right now. I covered sleep and mood above, and I think I will throw out a link for food and exercise:

That's it for me for today! I put the protein powder on there, and I'm going to do my best to drink it since I need the extra protein.

Hope you feel better soon. I understand your being sad when Father\'s Day approaches. It does get easier with time. You don\'t forget but it\'s not as bad.
Don\'t worry about being below cal. for a day or two. Just don\'t do it on a regular basis. You maybe coming down with something.
Keep up the great job you are doing with the exercise. Food sounds like you are doing well too. :)
i am sorry about fathers day, those special days are tough no matter the number of years. i have found that the anticpating of the day is worse then the day itself.if you feel sick, you dont want to eat and its ok, youll feel better soon. good job with the exercise!
Sorry your not feeling well, I know how it is to be missing a loved one on fathers day, both my father and father in-law have passed on and fathers day is also the birthday of my father in-law. It is extremely hard to eat properly when you don\'t feel well, please don\'t force yourself to eat when you don\'t feel well, the results can\'t be good for you. just eat wht you can and drink plenty of fluids, that part is important, you need to stay hydrated, but don\'t worry about your calories for the day. I hope you feel better soon, take care.
