NOT ENOUGH TIME
Well, I always seem to be running short of time lately. There are just not enough hours in my day. I am on the dead tear all day long and I flop into bed around 8ish every night totally whipped. I am in the process of getting my dressing room ready to be painted tomorrow. I have all the stuff out except the wardrobe and treadmill. I will just cover these. I have finished dry walling the holes and cracks. I have sanded almost all of the spots, just a few left. Then I want to tape off the border and woodwork today. Besides all of that I made a huge batch of cream of cauliflower soup this morning. I was making it low calorie and low points for weight watchers. I did not use my regular cream. I replaced it with fat free condensed milk. I will add a tablespoon or so of light blend just before serving to each individual bowl. Right now it takes me a lot of time and thought to get the points right. I am sure after a few weeks it will be much better. I am rather anxious to get weighed on Tuesday. I sure do hope there is a loss or I will be really upset. Of course this will put me in depressive mode. Not good!! I am not looking for a huge loss just 2 pounds would make me happy. Anything more would be gravy. Of course, hubby will lose more just because he is a man and they burn more because generally they have more muscle. Doesn’t that suck!!! We finally had the concrete poured for the garage. Um, I think I already said that in another journal. Anyway, we wanted to put those big rocks along the front part of the two lots and have trees in between them. Well, they cost about $150/rock. I don’t think so!! So hub, being a farmer, and having free access to heavy equipment, has brought home 5 big rocks. They are nice ones too but I want two more. He also dug up all the asphalt that was at the front of the two lots. It was a store that burned down years ago and the asphalt was the driveway. We will bring in fill in the spring and fill in the space. It will look great when it is done. And the cost is zero...bonus! Well, the sun is finally shining after days of wind and rain. We are heading for Moncton in about an hour to visit a friend in the hospital. We will also do a little shopping. This ends my journal for today. See you all later.Debbie Note..Raging Fog just got out of the hospital after a six day stay. She is resting and will be on line when she has gotten her strength back.
