normalness

I think it's a normal thing to experience something and then think about the experience,

reflect on it and make sense of it....I mean, even in business or sports we're constantly making

an effort and then afterwards assessing what we did well and what we did that could use some improvement.

In corporate we called it a "Post Mortem."

I was out with others today and I came home and felt lost...as though I needed to rediscover being alone...

and so I took a beat - texted a close friend - she was so kind and supportive back

and then knew that I had things to take care of around the house and that responsibilities would get me back.... making one step and then another

And so I did...get back to a sense of functioning...

Ah my oh my oh my oh. Sigh and breath and exhale...

I hope you guys are having a good night.

Time to play with Blue.

You are making the connections to the transition of the brain and body from one level of activity and calm to another level and calm.

Hurrah!

Mindful journaling for sure! I’ve started writing again in a paper journal and I’m using that « space » in an exploratory way right now. Here when we reflect we have the conversational aspect of it in responses, which I appreciate. In my Dear Diary handwritten I am trying to write from a perspective looking from a distance of personal reflections. I’m babbling, but these sorts of organizational flow charts of thinking are on my mind lately.

Is it possible to achieve mastering in anything without reviewing what you have learned and evaluating ways you could do better?

But balance in all things. Too much review and evaluation can lead to paralysis and a broken spirit.
