No Phone calls today, the ring has gone away

Today, I did not have a single phone call. I was undisturbed all day. It was  nice.
I can't expect it to stay this way but this is how it was before my mother got sick. I would go a days at a time without any phone calls.Though I may have had other worries I at least had my days serene and undisturbed by harsh ringing and interruptions.
I can only hope for more days like this and a final return to the peace I once had.
