Nice Walk

Well, today was Geo and my date day. We went to go see Pacific Rim and I liked it, then we went into the danger zone (Japanese buffet). I managed to eat a ton of carbs, which I shouldn't have, but I did have two small victories- I didn't get a spring roll when I wanted one and I resisted all the yummy sushi. Next time I go I'm going to ask if they can do a custom no-rice roll for me, since they make it in front of you. I had fun, we laughed a lot and just had a good time. Then, I came home and talked on the phone for a while, then looked at my watch- 7 pm. Decision time. Go for a walk, or stay at home. My friend on the phone encouraged me to go walk, so I did. I even ran! Like, full, blown all out sprint. It felt SO good! I can't wait until I can build up my walking and jogging power so I can run again. I miss being out there, feet pounding the pavement and it's just you and the road. I saw a guy in a mail truck who looked like my dad (he was a mailman before he died in 1996) and I just felt so good, like my dad is there, still looking out for me. It was a wonderful moment, and it wouldn't have happened if I had just stayed inside.

So, nice that you and Geo have a date night.
Was Rim action packed and was there a story line :)
Great job with going out to walk then running. Hope you can do that often.
I hear you about feeling your dad watching over you
