Nice family...
Tonight I did some side work for a nice family. It was a Jewish family with 3 daughters. Husband and wife were wonderful to me, and their kids were nice and polite (such a rarity)!! I got to see how they lived, I don't know much about Jewish rituals, but they all sat down at the dinner table and said a prayer, did some singing, then, happily laughing and talking, they started their dinner. It was a friday night, and one of their neighbors stopped by too, so now there were more people in the picture. I can't tell you what a nice happy family with nice neighbors they were. Of course, I wish I had that. As I left I told the husband that he had a nice family.
Of course I was extremely sad. I wish I had that. I've been thinking about it all night.

It sounds like the perfect family scenario. Lucky them. Then again, remember you're only seeing a snapshot of them at their best.
I understand your sadness as seeing how life could be. It's difficult when you're confronted with other people's happiness and security.
Just know you're a good family member to your own family, however small. You've given your child your best and perhaps one day there will be more family members that she might bring into your home.
Glad you have such a nice family to work for ❤️
That sounds like a nice evening but don't be sad, we all can't have the perfect family and you have your daughter and your sisters, some don;t even have that!!
Sometimes I wish I had that too. It seems so normal. My family was very eccentric by most standards but it was normal to me. If I had my own family I don't think i would be able to raise them right. I'm a loner and not sure of normal ways.
Sorry you feel sad after such a nice evening. I could just picture the evening in my mind. Maybe you could spend more time with them. Estranged families just suck. Hugs!
