News From Ireland

Hello all,
Hope all is well. Things are going good here, writing on St Paddy's Day so wishing you all a very happy day and luck of the Irish. It is getting close to Khristy Angel date and haven't been too depressed this year. Some days are sad and some days I have to just get on with life. I have come to the conclusion that I can not turn back the hands of times( which some days I wished I had that magical power). All my days spent wishing I had done that or done this is getting further apart and most important of all I have learned to forgive myself of my short comings and to forgive Khristy's of hers. What is the meaning of this I have yet to discover but it will come.

Tonight going out to pub and going to celebrate life. No green beer here(which am really glad cause think  its a stupid idea) Sorry to people that like the green beer idea. I will have a cheer for Khristy and all of you that have supported me throughout the years. Don't you just hate it when people bring up the death of your child then get very mad when they don't? Double standard I am living here. The only people that talked to me about my daughter Khristy are Jessica(her sister) My Mom and my sister. The rest just seem to not bring up her name. I know they might not want to upset me but at least give it a try to see if it upsets me. Ok end of my double standards rating...LOL that was fun.

I am working still at nursing home here in Ireland, My back has gotten better am trying to take better care of my back by refusing to lift patients instead of taking chances that I have done all my nursing career. On the 20th of March I am going to quite smoking(wish me luck and pay for strength) I am going to start my walks up again since my back is better so hopefully I can replace a bad habit with a good one. Looking forward to giving it a try and hopefully it will be the last time I pick up a cig and smoke it. The reason for March 20th I am going by the farmers almanac, which is one of the two dates it has for weaning off cigs in March. I don't go back to work until the 24th so will have 4 days to withdraw before having to deal with patients.

I am saving up money to visit Kentucky next year, it will probably be in the fall of the year so thinking about Sept. 2013, going to stay a month this time so I can visit more people longer. Looking forward to it.

The weather here is ever changing, we didn't have a bad winter this year and looks like we are going to have a lovely spring, but weather changes so fast around here. Yesterday went for a drive and there was a great rainbow in the sky took a pic of it, the one time I actually brought my camera with me, can't believe my luck. Now just have to get busy downloading pics into my computer, haven't done that for a while.

Going to have to cut this short going to have a bath and watch Ireland play England in Rugby. Everyone a HAVE A GREAT ST. PADDY'S DAY.

Love to all
cindy
