New plan? Self improvement

Ive decided this is not the time to give up smoking with too many stressors. The Spiriva is working well at the moment and has masked the fact I have COPD. I got a letter from the pulmonary specialist saying I have been put on a waiting list but with the current crisis they can’t know when they can see me. I don’t really want to go to a germy hospital ATM anyway. I will try to quit again when I am in a better situation.

There is a glimmer of hope that the South Australian state government thinks it’s on the brink of controlling the virus and may relax restrictions soon. If that happens I will pack up my van and live in it, moving often to not attract attention and wait for the border restrictions to be lifted and go back north. It’s winter here and it will be cold in the car but nice up north. Lots of ifs and buts. I feel exhausted just thinking of all the things I have to do to divest myself of this place and everything in it but it’s really not a safe space for me.

I have plants that need to go in the veg garden but if I’m not going to be here maybe I’ll just let them die. Or should I plant them just in case I’m stuck for a long while? Wish I had a crystal ball.

I’m still walking the dog as much as possible which is good for me as well but it’s hard while I feel like this and sometimes I can’t manage it.

Still Keeping up the Spanish lessons even though it’s looking less and less likely I’ll make it to mexico anytime soon. I’ve read a few articles on how badly corona virus is being handled there and it doesn’t seem like a good place to be right now even if flights resume.

Not game to weigh myself but I’m still squashing into the same clothes so no dramas there.

Love it that you're keeping up the Spanish lessons in spite of all. Yeah, I know, I'm weighing my own options as to moving there until a vaccine for COVID-19 is available. What a bummer. Keep me informed on what news you find out on that score, ok? Just figure it gives you more time to work on your Spanish. As for me, I don't know what it does as to my future plans. Time will tell.

Maybe not totally give up smoking but just controlled smoking so it's not too excessive is a good plan.

Hugs. Ur doing well

If ya plant 'em and move on, at least you have given them a chance at survival. If you stay long enough to nurture them, you'll be glad you did. As Martin Luther said, if I knew the world would end tomorrow, still I would plant my apple tree.

It's not likely I'll ever make it to China, either, but the study is quite fulfilling, in itself. Great things do not need a reason for doing. Did you know Chinese universities have calligraphy degrees and jobs to go with them? They hold tones as the most important piece of language. I'll sing to that! ! !
