New meds.

I have one doctor that I am actually able to see. However, that's because I've been seeing them since I was a kid for the unrelated issue of attention deficit disorder. Seeing doctor doesn't seem likely to raise suspicion from my family, but it also doesn't seem likely to help with the trauma/flashbacks either since this doctor isn't specialized in any of that. Whenever I've brought those issues up in sessions they don't seem to think much of it and just write it off.

For the record I can only afford to see this doctor 2 times per year and the sessions only last 15 minutes.

Anyways, I again tried getting help from them with the flashback/dissociation problem since it has gotten so bad. They chalk it up to just being anxiety (at least it's better than being written off completely) and prescribed an expensive drug to try and see if it gets my antidepressants to work better.

Not sure if it will help very much with my problems yet, but at least some of the side effects cancel out a few mildly annoying side effects of the antidepressant.
