New grandma - I am going to be the best darn widowed grandma in the world
I am a new grandma at 54 years of age. I updated my goal to read: I am going to be the best darn grandma in the world or die trying. I am trying to cast off the grief, sadness, loneliness and despair that has been on my shoulders since the day Smokey died. It will be 7 months on the 15th. Smokey would not want me to stay sad. Smokey would want me to be happy. Having a new grandbaby has encouraged my heart and makes me smile. I could watch Tyson all day. He is so cute. Excuse me but every once in awhile I call him Tyler but my grandson is cute and is named Tyson Philip. He was such a huge baby no wonder my daughter is still sore from natural child birth. She did a huge mistake of trying to do one hours walk pushing the stroller. I said wait a couple of weeks until you feel a big better and try 15 minute walks instead until you build your strength up again. She tried too hard in one day. Lisa, Grant and Tyson are over on Vancouver Island with Grant's dad. They might visit my baby brother Gerald. I hope so. Everyone likes to see new babies. This is an exciting time for me and I feel my life is slowly getting on track again.
