New day
It’s been fairly quiet here today except for a minor incident. Horrible neighbor had a girl over so he set off a klaxon he had on an old car in the backyard. Girl giggled, he gave his normal nasty laugh but then it was over. I guess he’s not game to do sustained bs. His father has dissuaded him a few times too. The real estate agent has gone from friendly to abrupt probably because they twisted the narrative, but the law is the law. I haven’t looked at the new lease yet and will put it off as long as I can. Maybe I will win the lottery of something and be able to find somewhere better.
I am a bit depressed and unmotivated so I’ve been doing my five minute rule, I can do anything for five minutes and don’t have to tackle the whole job. That’s enabled me to do the dishes, wash clothes and bring them in but not much more. Dog is very disappointed we didn’t go for a walk. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Even fancy neighborhoods have hostile neighbor disputes. I understand the agent's shift to abruptness all too well. Neighbor disputes are pretty high on the list of reasons I won't invest in residential rent properties. Neighbor sniping is even more tedious than romantic sniping. Don't put me in the middle of your mutual yaddah blahs. Am I supposed care which of you is the rightest right? Just play nice, kiddies.
Yay you for at least recognizing Pepper's disappointment. **clink** Here's to hoping tomorrow will be a better day.
Listen to your dog. I doesn't know, I only believe that five minute rule comes quite naturally to dogs. Let her show you how.
Yeah I agree about neighbour disputes Arfie but sometimes they are just one sided. I am not interested in tit for tat, just peace.
It takes two sides to hold a dispute, even when the two sides are inside a single skin. Take it from somebody who has given herself more than one black eye over my own internal disputes.
I would like zero neighbors someday. I do not like people in my business one bit. I hope you get a new place soon.
Thanks Doo. Me too
