New day
The good news is my dog perked up when we got in the car and became more like herself. She did have diarrhoea on her walk but is now eating and drinking.
The real estate agent emailed me back and said she had told the neighbors to be civil. It’s a little more than about being civil but I took the win. I’m sure the other tenants twisted everything but I really don’t care, I’m not interested in that, just with doing my time here peacefully until I can escape. She knows I’m aware of the Quiet Enjoyment laws now and I’m documenting everything, so fingers crossed. I just thanked her and left it at that. She emailed me a new lease to sign which acknowledges changes to leases and not being able to do rent increases at this time of crisis. Im happy I dragged my feet over signing a few weeks ago, or I might not have got the benefits. I’m still very anxious over the events of the last week so haven’t looked at the updated lease yet, I need time to come off high alert.
its a beautiful day here and I enjoyed the walk on the beach as did a lot of other people, properly distanced of course. I planted the seedlings but it was a struggle to find room for them all in my small garden. Deep breaths, calming music. I’ll get through this.

sounds all good shakers.....LOL
Good to hear that your dog seems to be doing better! I'm glad the weather cooperated for a walk on the beach. Sounds relaxing!
Oh so good to hear about your dog.
You will get through this, we all will. Hugs.
My Persilly is still mad at me for demoting her to yard dog. If I am translating correctly, she has been telling me that the 135 acre yard is no substitusky for our road wanders. Kinda ironic for a car phobic dog, huh? All I know for sure about her childhood is that she was thrown from a moving car window when she was less than a year old. 9 years later, even **I** have a hard time getting her into a new vehicle but she is unspeakably hurt every time I leave her behind. Hurt enough for anxiety sickness.
Glad you listened to your **REAL** bitch. Nobody nags like the fur-tailed bitches. Listen closely. Listen often. She has important things to tell you.
Persilly sounds lovely. I agree with you, my Pepper wants to go travelling again. She loves the car unlike your girl, hates coming back here. She shows signs of depression if she can’t go for drives or travelling. I know she wants to go again and doesn’t understand why not. She ‘smiles’ at me when we drive and licks me trying to get her point across. She considers the van her home and likes to just sit in it even if it’s not going anywhere. I agree with her, I wish we could get the hell out of Dodge.
I thought of that too invisiblefriend but there’s no way of knowing. No evidence of anything thrown over the fence.
The fact that Persilly is still car phobic makes me wonder if it is the one-on-one time that she is missing. Dogs are intensely gregarious creatures. I believe their emotional bonds are only slightly less important than food and water. Those pack bonds are way more important than reproduction. There's not a snowball's chance in Hell that I could give Persilly babies, even if I were pervy enough to try and she'll still take me over the hottest stud in the dog park.
Persilly is on woofer heaven on the days I can be my dog's best friend, wherever that may be.
Who was it said The more I have to do with people, the more I like dogs? That’s my mantra.
