Neurontin Zombie
I like the Neurontin for the most part, it does help with the mood swings, but it turns me into a zombie. I slept from 10pm last night to 3pm today (well, 2pm with Daylight Savings Time) and even then had trouble getting out of bed all day. I didn't do anything today besides cook dinner. I even had trouble getting online I was so tired. I was still mood swinging... Friday I thought it would be a good idea to lower my Neurontin to see how I would do... it was too soon. Yesterday I was mood swinging all day. Today it was just in the evening. Geo was napping and I had to wake him to cuddle. Cuddling with him makes everything better. At least I know what's making me a zombie, and how to deal with it. I just have to take all my Neurontin at night and not skip any doses. When it comes time to detox, I will just have to deal with it. At least I'm sleeping without klonopin or anything else.
I'm tired now, it's 10pm again. I haven't taken my night meds, or else I would be out. I just need to finish this so I can go to sleep. Food today I was good on my calories but a tad bit low on protein (under by 2g). All my other nutrients were good. Mood was swinging later in the evening, and stress was low. Sleep I was like a zombie again. I just hope tomorrow's a better day.

i am sorry the zombie effect is so bad, maybe it takes time for your body to accept and adjust itself to the new med. i hope you are not self lowering or upping your meds, it can be very harmful without professional help in how to do it. is detox a definete decsion? hugsss
Echoing Ann here! I know you are pretty good on what meds you take but I still worry.
Wishing you a great week!
That\'s exactly what Neurontin did to me, except that I was taking it for migraines and depression. I felt like I was dying and had to stop it. It took weeks to feel back to normal. Great job on the Klonopin. That\'s the one i told you yesterday I can\'t get off no matter how hard I try. Kudos to you lady.
