Neurologist Visit
I visit two separate teams of neurologists, one in Phoenix in the winter and a team in Portland, OR in the summer at OHSU. Tuesday I had my visit with my Phoenix doctor. Here is a quick summary of our decisions.
1. Increase Pramapexol by 1/2 tablet to 1 and 1/2 each morning then one tablet for noon and supper.
2. Continue Sinamet at 4 tablets /day
3. Azilect at 1 tablet /day
4. Continue lots of walking, but avoid steep places due to my compromised balance.
I shared a table of my daily blood pressure readings and asked about some of the higher numbers and pointed out a reading of 137/73 and another of 134/90. He chuckled and told me that hypertension was not one of my problems. Others would love to have such low numbers. My averages have been about 112/72. I was reminded to drink more water.
My follow-up visit is set for April 7th
