Neural divergence
It’s weird, I saw some neural diversity in my cousin Al's daughter. I saw this in her when she was younger and now i see it now that she’s older. I sincerely think she should be evaluated. There’s an unconsciousness in her that causes weird behavior. I wish I could say something to her mom. I also see issues in A's older brother and also I think of another cousin who has Down syndrome. I don’t know how to reconcile the different fates we all have. The strong and the healthy and the divergent and the fate of each. I’ve had my own issues as you know. My own neural divergence and I know I am so lucky. I’ve worked hard for good health and have had the family and friends support to fight for it. I will pray for my family and friends. Do you have any perspective?

I think by being strong in our own lives in our community there can be a kind of spiritual‘trickle down effect’ we may not catch everyone from falling through the cracks but we can through a personal commitment care after those in our sphere
I found some good advice if you decide to say something… Start with positive observations,; share specific observations; focus on concern, not accusations; ask open-ended questions; offer support and resources; and respect their decision.
thanks susan!
Big hug sweetie....If there's something going on with your cousin if it's at all obvious I think her mom probably knows unless she's in denial
I hope that she'll be okay sweetie
Big hug...xo
Thanks Jan! My Dad said the same thing
Glad you were able to speak to your dad about this. gr8 had some really good advice if you choose to go in that direction. It's a hard thing to do, your dad, Jan and I all have the same thought....perhaps speaking to your cousin asking if they are feeling ok, maybe talking about some of your life experiences might help to lead your cousin to come to a place to advocate for himself/herself and seek help? <3
Thanks Mary Louise!
