NEED TO PUT MY CAT DOWN!!
FOLKS, THIS WILL BE A SHORT BUT SAD ENTRY. I HAVE TO PUT ONE OF MY CATS TO SLEEP TODAY. SHE IS MY HYMALAYAN AND SHE IS 15 YEARS OLD. FOR THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF SHE HAS BEEN URINATING JUST OUTSIDE OF HER LITTERBOX. SO I KEPT PAPERS AND PUPPY PADS THERE. EACH DAY I WOULD CHANGE THE PAPERS AND SCRUB WITH JAVEX. WELL, SHE HAS NOW STARTED TO GO ANYWHERE UPSTAIRS. IT JUST SEEMS THAT WHEREEVER SHE IS SHE GOES. SHE HAS ALSO HAD A FEW BOWEL MOVEMENTS AROUND THE UPSTAIRS AND SHE IS VOMITING ABOUT THREE TIMES A DAY. SHE WAS ALWAYS VERY CLEAN ABOUT HERSELF AND KEPT HER BODY FREE OF FURBALLS. BUT NOW SHE IS JUST ONE HUGE MASS OF MATTED FUR. SHE WILL NOT LET ME TOUCH HER TO GET THE MATTS OUT. MY GROOMER WON'T TOUCH HER BECAUSE SHE MAY HAVE A HEART ATTACK FROM THE TRAUMA OF THE CLIPPERS. I AM VERY SAD TO HAVE TO DO THIS BUT THE TIME HAS COME.DEBBIE

Oh Debbie, I am so sory. I had to put a cat down and he was doing kind of the same things, found out he had kidney failure. I had him in the Hospital a few times, but...I still cry when I think about it. I can\'t think of anything more gut wrenching. You just love them so much. I am so so sory you have to go thru this. I wish I could do something, say something. But there are no words other than. I do know what you are going thru. Damnit. Much love my friend.
Ah Debbie, I\"m so sorry. I have two girls that are 15 1/2 years old and another that is 14 and I know that for at least one of them the time is getting near to when she will leave us (Loki is 15 1/2 and her and RA are the last of their family). It is so heart breaking to lose them after they have been a part of your heart for so long.
