Need a Cheap Celebration...

Well, in the midst of all our financial struggles, my wedding anniversary is coming up later this month. That will make 18 years for us. I want to celebrate, but not go overboard until we are a little more financially stable.
In 18 years, we have built a home, and brought 2 beautiful girls into the world. I just wish there was a way to go out and not worry about "how much is this going to cost?"
On a brighter note, we see a movie will be filming here and looking for extras. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Any job, even a temporary one, will help.

18yrs, what a wonderful thing to see. So many marriages now a days end before 2yrs are up.

My hubby and I are coming up on our 13th in Feb 2014. We too are not in a financial situation to have a wonderful night on the town where we can spend a night at a good restaurant, dancing & dining the night away.
We are planning to go to the lake near us and have a winter picnic, just the two of us around sunset.

You could do that? Even if you don\'t have a lake near by, just a nice private spot where you can watch the sunset and have a picnic together. You already have groceries ... it doesn\'t have to be expensive. If the two of you want to dress up and have a picnic ... go for it! After all, it is your day :)
