need
I think life is about human need.
I found myself considering two sides of the coin -
my experience and someone else's -
I have been spinning my wheels and subconsciouly thinking "is it perfect yet?"
the answer is it will never be perfect -
I have needs and so does the other person I am relating too.
it's ongoing and finally makes sense - I'm ok with it always being a little uncomfortable
I have a lot of work to do - but that's life going forward -
and I get my needs met and I also get and give with the other
- friends, family, shopkeepers and man (or woman) on the street.

Big hug sweetie...xo
get me harumphing like an over-aged tree-hugger, why doncha????? methinks it's in the first book of your holy bible that humans were created as stewards designed to care about more than humanity. god's creation is not just about humans, father grasshopper.
are my roman catholic fransiscan stripes showing?
stepping down from the podium, yes reciprocity is an element of all relations. action and reaction, don't be too quick to believe the royal we's or trust your own mind-reading skills. a commonality i find in my own relationships is that what goes around comes around. if i'm feeling awkward and/or shut down, there's a high probability that the life form i am relating with is feeling awkward and/or shut down, as well. nudging our way past such faux pas is how bonds are formed.
and life will seldom meet my definition of perfect. exponentially so for relationships. it is all relative, after all.
Thanks Jan and Arfie!
