Natalie Elysia McNamara is here!
Hi everyone,
My grandson Joshua's fiancee Chelsea gave birth to their first child on 12/13/11 at 1:10 am. Natalie weighs 7lbs1oz (that is what Ed weighed at birth too, a Godincidence I believe) and is 20.25 inches long. She is healthy & beautiful and I am blessed. Mommy Chelsea is doing well. She is happily nursing & feeling pretty well. Both Joshua & Chelsea are ecstatic! I posted a few pics so if you get a chance check them out. :)
I had a meltdown last night missing Ed & feeling awful that he isn't here to see Iysabella (Christina's daughter) and Natalie grow up. We also saw the neurologist for Ken yesterday so I think between what Ken is going through and wishing Ed was here to be the wonderful granddad he would have been just kinda pushed me over the brink. But I am better today.
Ken is having another MRI on Friday - this time with contrast dye. Then back to the neurologist on 12/27 for those results & then he will be sent to a neurosurgeon to plan the surgery to remove the tumor. The neurologist still believes the tumor is benign but says he cannot be 100% sure until they biopsy it. He said these type of tumors are rarely malignant so I am going with that.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for Natalie and her being born healthy. Please heal Ken fully. Please encompass my friends and sisters here in your love. Please tell Ed I love him and miss him. In Jesus name, amen.
Hi Ed, I miss you all the time but I am healing and feel blessed with Iysabella and Natalie here. I am looking out for your kids and now grandkids and I won't ever stop. I will finish your work for you. My heart breaks that you are not here but I know you are in God's care and that means more than words can express. I will love you forever. xoxo Mom
Love and peace to all, Linda

Linda, Congratulations on such a blessing and I will keep Ken in my prayers. Stay strong. Love and XXX OOO Gail
Lovely new life! Mazel-Tov to you and yours. Nothing like a new baby to find all right with the world. love ya, abby
Ken is in my prayers. Congratulations Great Grandma. Terry
Ed knows all about Natalie. Your emotional meltdown is SO NORMAL. We never really will recover fully although we understand where our loved ones are now. But intellectual awareness doesn\'t always instantly communicate to the \"heart\". Ken\'s health is also in God\'s hands but it sounds positive (that this type of tumor is rarely malignant). God bless you during this difficult time but CONGRATULATIONS for the birth of a beautiful new life.
Simply beautiful news to read today dear Linda. My heartfelt congratulations to each of you. Wow, Natalie\'s birth weight the same as your Ed\'s... :) Wishing all of you the very best as you continue to welcome this little miracle and knowing that Ed sent her with a kiss... look for it as it will be there. (Remember how I told you to look for Iysabella\'s?)
You are one adorable great grammie (again) and I know you count this as such a blessing. The circle of life continues dear Linda.
Much love and welcome little Natalie... you are heaven sent and welcomed here with open arms and hearts.
Gentle care to you and hope you get lots of snuggle time.
Much love, Joanie
Congratulations! She is absolutely adorable. Prayers for you and for Ken...please keep us informed. Love you
Congratulations! What a beautiful family! The baby is just gorgeous but that\'s no surprise with those very good-looking parents. Linda, I will keep praying for Ken that all will turn out well. Love and hugs to you my friend. Diane
Yay!!! Natalie is here!!! Another one, fresh from God...my FMO mom friends are on a roll-- cranking those fresh sweet fritters... right out of Heaven\'s Bakeshop!
I am glad that Ken\'s doctor says his type of tumor is usually benign so that is what I am going with and praying for excellent results all around.
You have been under tremendous stress lately...these holiday times really ratchet up the overload factor, emotionally as well as physically and this kind of ongoing, daily stress with Ken isn\'t helping the relaxation part at all. By the time the holidays are over and the New Year starts, things hopefully should be well under a more typical and manageable routine!
Sending lots of love to you dearest Linda, Donna
Love all your pictures!! You are so blessed. Feeling meltdowns myself too, so I understand. You are in my prayers. love and peace, Roselle
Oh how wonderful to celebrate your expanding family...and I know bittersweet.
Prayers and so much love to you and Ken...I am sure all will be well.
Love,
