My Tue Valentine
Hello everyone HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
I know how difficult this day can be for those of us who are single. I take comfort in that when I accumulate all the love I get all year round and through out the years, I realize that this is not such a bad day after all.
I’ve been MIA lately, because my puppy has brought my life in a whirl wind! Most the time it’s beautiful getting to know each other and learning how to live with each other. Then she acts like a terrible two year old Hahaha! It’s all good though. God has been giving me some creative ways to teach her.
I have to admit I was afraid of how I would manage her when I switch. The other night one of my alters came out and was crying from the memories of her abuse. At that point my puppy Matti was in her crate. She started to whimper. So, my alter let her out we were all in awe...that puppy started to lick my tears away. WOW! Leave it to God to touch my heart with puppy love :)
A lot of things have been changing in my life. I am having a bit of a reprieve from that continual heart ache. I’m actually breathing. I know that sounds funny, but for many years even breathing was difficult. I emptied everything I had good and bad and surrendered it all over to God knowing that without Him I am nothing. And I found in that moment He made me a somebody...His child. His love is unstoppable. For a life time I felt as though I was loosing my mind, my faith, my way not knowing who I was. I believed that I was too far gone to turn it all around. I was convinced that this is how my story would end. I was afraid to really see how weak I would be in His hands and what being complete would actually look like if and when I let Him into my life to rescue me.Then God showed me with Him anything is possible! In Him I can reclaim my innocence and lift up my voice so that He could hear my cry since I had nothing else left to hold onto. Then His love came down. Honestly, His amazing grace is victorious over everything!
Yes, this world still sucks at times, but I am grateful to God for showing me the beauty in it all and where my eternal life will be. I find comfort in this truth and endless love! I sing glory to my God above! He is my true Valentine! :)

Your faith and positive attitude are inspiring. I have seen you grow a lot since you joined here. Keep up the good work!
I love reading this! I am a firm believer in puppy love! Some days, just petting our dogs calms my mind. I know what you mean about breathing. I have been breathing deeper and easier more now, too. I have even been studying and practicing breathing techniques from Yogic traditions to help me.
I even noticed in knitting today, that meditation for one year has helped me pick up a challenging pattern that I gave up on last year, and I am sitting through it with focus and mindfulness.
I get you... God is our one true always and forever Valentine. Just being aware that I am loved by God so much is helping me in this world when challenges arise. I used to feel I was so unworthy and could not attain a loving life... now I realize when others don\'t act this way, it is not that I deserve poor treatment at all, ... I am learning that maybe they have a problem, and I can choose not to indulge my emotions in trying to gain their approval... only because I feel I have God\'s approval!
