My trip

Finally a chance to share a bit of my trip.  We started out with a bang!  Literally.  The van we were in was rear ended coming into Green Bay.  Scared us, but the van was fine.  The guy hit our trailer hitch and did a number on his vehicle.  I started the trip with a bit of a sore neck.
We drove the entire first day and made it to a little town in PA and spent the night.  The next morning we drove to Chesapeake and had dinner and a visit with Bo's father.
Friday was spent at Virginia Beach in the beautiful 80+ weather.  I overdid the walking a bit, but it was so much fun.  Then to cap the beautiful day off, I was able to have the visit in the evening with Jeannie.  It was so great to be able to talk face to face.  Our treatment course has been similar, so it was fun to compare experiences and discuss MG.  This visit was a highlight of my trip!
We drove to Baltimore on Saturday and met up with Leo's sister and family.  We went to the aquarium.  It was a bit chilly and drizzly, so we spent most of the evening at the aquarium.  Grayson called all the fish Beebees (babies) but was very excited about the Jellyfish room filled with tanks and tanks of "Bwee Beebees" (pretty babies.)
Sunday we went to D.C. and everyone took turns pushing me and Grayson.  I wasn't overly impressed with the Smithsonians, but I loved the monuments and memorials.  People did sure give me strange looks when I popped out of the w/c for a stretch.
Monday we drove as far as Cleveland and went to the city for the evening.  We ate at the Hard Rock.  It was nice.
Tuesday we planned two museums, but only went to the Science museum.  It was geared more toward kids, but  by this time Grayson was coughing and Bo was puking and I was bucky about riding in the w/c.
We got home Wednesday and I have been trying to catch up with odds and ends and rest ever since.  I felt pretty good all of the trip.  I am having a bit of a tough day today, (short of breath, blood sugar up, and needed an extra mestinon) so am trying to rest a bit before I work with the developmentally disabled church group this evening.
