My special gift from Colleen.
Since Colleen's passing, I've been receiving small bird feathers from her. At first I hesitated about the idea, but then she sent me one very special feather! When I looked at it, I got the message in my heart that she received her eternal crown from Jesus! This is a huge comfort to me.
Shortly after my dad died, 17 years ago, I got my first wink from him. My necklace became undone and it fell. The chain can only be opened by using both hands, and therefore I realized that my dad was with me. Lately this has been happening a lot. Now I know that Colleen is with my dad, and they are both with me always! It gives me great comfort to know that Colleen is not alone. She is now whole, happy and always with me!

The signs bring such comfort and feathers are one of the ways that Douglas communicates with me as well. Kelly posted on the discussion page a post about the symbolism of feathers and their colors. I will try to find it and \"bump\" it up in case you have not seen it.
Lovely to know that Colleen is nearby as is your father.

I\'ve always heard about \"Pennies from Heaven\", received by a loved one from one that has passed. Prior to my wife passing last January, I whispered in her ear while she was sleeping to send me a nickle in some way when she reaches heaven. Two days after her funeral, I walked into our house and immediately spotted a nickle in the middle of the kitchen floor. Other than her signal, I could think of no other reason why a nickle would be laying there. Later, I learned our church pastor found a nickle on their front door step the same day. Those kind of \"winks\" can\'t be ignored, including the sign from both your father and Colleen. They do indeed give us comfort in the knowledge they are safe and happy with our Lord.
