My son and his issues....

Well, today, I thought it was going to me a decent day throughout and nothing was going to bring me down lkke a bad taumatic event. Nothing did happen that bad, but there were things that I thought my son would never say to me that he did say. First, there was a guy that came to the house looking for my son and I knew no difference and told him my son was out in the van he bought from my oldest daughter. Later, after I told my son he had stopped by (via text), he nearly jumped down my throat saying I should never tell anyone where he is cause it could end badly and that there are not so good people looking for him as it is. I know that he is not in a very good place with his life, but I didn't think nothing of it when the guy asked if he was in the house. I didn't know I shouldn't have told the guy anything. He didn't seem like he was aggressively looking for my son, but I wouldn't have known different when I don't know much about who he hangs out with anymore. If the guy had seemed intimidating or aggressive, I wouldn't have said anything. I hope that my son knows that deep down, but maybe he doesn't.

Something else that happened today was my fiance came home and has been coming home in pretty good moods lately and being more respectful of  my feelings and what I say and do as well. I think it has a lot to do with some things I've let him read regarding how I feel and what I was or am thinking deep down where it concerns our relationship and our future. I just wish it didn't come to that where I had to have him read it. I wanted him to see it and hear it coming from my mouth verbally outloud, but he would block me and my words out a lot of the time even if I was talking calmly to him. He stated that we would try to find time to talk this weekend, but I'm not getting or keeping my hopes up because he's said things like that to me before and we haven't done it regularly like he has said we would. Its not easy trying to keep my wits about me either cause I really just want to talk everything out and actually make progress in our communication skills and our consensus issues. I don't know if we really ever will though.

It's not your fault. Your son just sounds frustrated with himself. Don't be hard on yourself. I'm sorry your family is having a rough time
