My nightmares.

Ok, so lately I have not smoked any weed, racked any bars, I haven't drank any alcohol or done any drugs...nothing. I have been completly sober for a good 4 weeks now, but now I am expiriencing sever nightmares. I litterally am so scared to get tired, and just petrified of going to sleep. I've never had anything symptoms like this before, I am waking up in the middle of the night (like right now) and I am shaking uncontrollably. I don't know whats happening, but the dreams that I am having are scaring the shit out of me. I wish I wasn't having these nightmares as I mentioned I am waking up in the middle of the night with severe cold sweats and rapid breathing like I've been running away from something the whole fucking night. I have no fix for this and that where I need help. I don't know if I should start taking Ambien again, it really sets me back when I do take it. It helps me sleep but then it knocks me out cold for a long time, I end up waking up to late and being late to class and very groggy when I am at practice. I am just not myself during the day when I am on a Ambien regement. This is so serious for me I never had these kinds of dreams before, I can tell you about them if you would like just send me a pm and I will explain. I have to warn you though my dreams are very wicked. I am just so afraid to close my eyes for what I am seeing is just way to unexplainable. I am taking a ambien tonight because Its the weekend and I don't have school or practice so I am safe for tonight and I know I will get a good sleep, but it still doesn't help the fact that I am trying my hardest to quit taking pills and quitting all these drugs that have ruined my past, but seriously I am regretting taking all those drugs for now I am haunted in the middle of my sleep I am seeing things so vivid that I am scared of sleeping now. I just hope that these go away I am so petrified of what I am going to see next...

Awww thank you!! I know I have been trying my hardest to quit all the drugs, I\'ve been doing so good, but then this all started so now I am taking sleeping pills and I really don\'t want to I don\'t like them, I hate forcing myself to sleep it\'s something that should just come natural, I mean right?? haha

Tyler I am so proud of you for being clean. But it saddens me that you are having nightmares. If you ever have a nightmare during the night and need to talk about it, I rarely sleep so feel free to text or call me. and you might want to tell a doctor or psycologist bout them.

I\'m proud of you for staying clean also! Likewise, if you want to go into details about your dreams you\'re welcome to pm me or chat me up sometime. I can handle anything in terms of details but it\'s up to you if you want to go through putting it into words or not. I\'ve done the Ambien thing too and it can be helpful just to get you settled down in the short term (a couple weeks or so) but it\'s really not meant for long term use. I agree that maybe talking through things with a therapist might be helpful... just to get them off your chest and out there can make a huge difference.
