My neighbor's flowers

The guy who owns the home here, purchased it for his mom 4 years ago. She past away two years ago and the house has been vacant ever since. The once, beautiful flower garden has been over run with weeds. I spent two days getting rid of them a year ago, but they came back again this year with no one to tend the garden. The owner is a self employed lineman who has been very busy installing fiber optic cable in all of the neighboring towns, so i rarely see him. He originally purchased it on a quick claim deed. He had no idea it had a lien on it which he refuses to pay so selling it has been difficult, since no bank will finance it. It would be nice to have neighbors again.

The flowers are beautiful Bob!
That is a tough spot to be in!!
I dream of flowers like that! oh no, the poor guy. Hidden liens are a biatch.
wow, beautiful flowers. And why didn't the real estate agent not investigate that lien. wow shoddy work.
Beautiful!
Hi Bob, the flowers are beautiful, and it's very special how the flowers continue to grow and blossom each year. i'm sorry and sad to hear about the man's mom who passed, and that there's been some issues with the sale of the house. i'm very hopeful all will be worked out, and you all will have new neighbors. it's very nice you've helped with the flowers, garden area :) Thank you for sharing pictures of the flowers :) Sending our best well wishes, wishing you all a peaceful day and weekend :)
my friend inherited a house with a deed that had in death transfer to his name. He went to sell it and found out that they guy who left it to him accumulated over a million dollars of debt to the states Medicaid program being in nursing home so he did not get the over $350grand he had thought just lucky they let him take out the investments he had made to sell it of $50,000
I like the sunflowers and all flowers really
Those flowers are 'home sweet Maine' to me! Thank you so much for sharing!
That's awful about the lien that was on the property. It has created so many issues here in Florida when probate clears the house, and then the sellers are finally informed about those pesky holds. It's too bad the amount in lien is enough to prevent a reasonable sale of the property.
What a spot to end up in!
The flowers are lovely Bob
You're a good photographer!!...xo
Such beautiful flowers.!
Very pretty flowers! Thanks for sharing your pictures.
Unfortunately, that's one of the risks associated with acquiring property through a quitclaim deed. It’s a shame the lien wasn’t discovered through a title search prior to purchase.
Flowers are very pretty.
The flowers are absolutely gorgeous. Great pictures.
The realtor should of known that there was a lien on the property. Your neighbor is in a tough spot. Not his fault.
Maybe he will pay the lien once he has a chance to slow a bit with work. Until then, enjoy the quiet. Some neighbors can be a bit much too. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous!!
What beautiful flower's!
Thankyou Mark
Thankyou Leo, yes, you definitely take a chance when you bid on a forclosure.
Thankyou Mary, I don't know why to be honest, I knew he had a lawyer and fought it but it didn't seem to do any good.
Thankyou Kelly.
Thankyou csun, I heard he is going to put the property up for bid jut so he can get rid of it. It will be up to potential buyers to do a title search.
Thankyou Mel, He had a layer working on it but he didn't get too far. He bought it in a foreclosure sale off the town and I think he assumed it had a clear title.
Thankyou Bill, yes your friend was very lucky.
Thankyou Mid, Yes, I miss my neighbor. She use to bring me home made baked goods once a week. I miss that.
Thankyou Jan
Thankyou Carly
Thankyou Judy....yes, it was a foreclosure sale through the town and the guy assumed it had a clear title.
Thankyou Annie
Thankyou Cali... I don't really know how that works but I would never buy anything on a quick claim deed.
Thankyou Mel, If the house ever sells, I hope my new neighbors are friendly,
