My mother's birthday

Today my mother would be 98 years old.  She died of lung cancer in 1975.  I miss her but I suspect she and Lisa are happy together with my brother.  I wondered why I was feeling so down yesterday.
On Sunday, as we went out to a movie with a friend of Lisa and of me.  There are huge curtain windows by the elevators.  As we were waiting for the elevator, I looked out and saw a hawk, sitting on a rail, just looking around.  Joe ran back in, got the camera and got some lovely photos.  That hawk sat there for a long time seemingly unconcerned.  It was beautiful - guess who? I think!

My mom lived with us her last ten years and died at 90. I miss her a lot and her loss hooks in with the loss of Jacob. She allowed Jacob to get married beforre graduating Yeshiva (Jewish college) and supported him for 3 years. That is why I have two grandkids frrom Jake. My solace. Love, Abby

My Mom passed in 1987. Never thought I\'d have to face anything harder. Little did we know at the time. There is such a strong unbreakable bond between mother and child.

Tight hugs,

Makes perfect sense as to why you were feeling blue. Our spirits know even when our minds have not yet connected the dots.

Hawks are amazing and the red tail hawk is a messenger for both my husband and me. I have no doubt that Lisa was saying hello. :)

Gentle care on this 98th birthday of your sweet mother and my mom lived in SLC the last three years of her life and what a gift it was for my sister and me to have her close by. I miss my mom so much as well and most of all her constant cheerleading of me. She was one of my biggest fans and isn\'t that what a mom is for?! :)

Loving care on this special day dear Marlene,

There is always a reason for being blue. At least you figured it out! That is good. Rose

I feel myself getting depressed also. Dean\'s 3rd Angel date is Sept. 1st.. I am trying despertly, to hold onto the good karma I received at the Retreat.
Hope you cheer up soon :)
