My mom
So my mom is now admited to the hospital. Everyone was telling her all the while that all of her tests were coming back fine, but she ended up failing her stress test, and now the cardiologist is telling her that she has not just one but several blockages around her heart and that she could have had a heart attack at any time. So they're doing all the blood thining things and are going to insert at stint today. They may send her home today, but my guess is that she's going to be there for a while yet. In other news, well, I'm doing fine in the apres Mzsweething and alternate name incident. The only pain is having to change my phone number and contact all my reletives all at the same time. I cringe to think what would have happened if my mom had tried to call me with a heart attack while I was waisting time on the phone with the police for this chick -- she had no idea how dangerous her little game could have turned out being. Sigh. Anyway, I may take half a day off of work to deal with my mom. Not sure yet. This is new ground for me. Love and huggles to all,Steve

Hey Steve, sorry to hear about your mother. If it\'s any consolation, the docs are getting very very good at busting up clots and doing minimally invasive techniques (the stent). I hope she does well, she\'s lucky to have a son like you at her side.
So sorry to hear about your mother. I totally can relate, two years ago i went thru exactly the same with my dad. He spent a week in hospital, he had to have a stent as well. Alot of the meds are continued for a long time after the procedure but it all helps hun. It was all so worrying but the doctors work miracles. I pray it all goes well for her, being by her side will make the world of difference.

Try not to project into the future, take it one day at a time. I pray everything will turn out fine. It is good they have found the problem and now can fix it.
