my life in a nutshell, cracked but still here

ok so i have been seperated for several months now 5 to be exact got the lawyer and the divorce process is in motion.  my daughter with aspergers is having a hard time with this, well both my kids are but her more apparent, the evil one(my nickname for the ex)   is not doing anything to help the situation.  so yesterday in a battle with my daughter while she was at the exs house  i was angry about my daughters behavior and called the ex, who is mad at me for what reason i dont know but now i find out she is dating an old friend of mine i unfriended due to him being an abusive alcoholic, i am so livid i told her if he touches my kids, he better have someone order a body bag cause he will need it, i just dont understand why she is on this downward spiral and why she doesnt worry about whats going on and how it affects our kids

I am so sorry you are going through all of this! But, I\'m glad you got away from the evil one. She was recklessly destroying your marriage and making it impossible for you to have any peace of mind. You can\'t control other people\'s behavior...she was treating you horribly when you were together, and I\'m not surprised she is continuing her path of destruction. The only thing you can do is exactly what you ARE doing, taking care of yourself, and separating yourself from her. It\'s very difficult to do, I know, but try to find comfort in knowing your happiness does not depend on what your ex does... you should probably expect the worst from her, and that is her business, and out of your control. Showing her how upset you are will only fuel her to do more outrageous things. You are a good person, and keep the faith that your life will begin to get much better now that you\'re making changes to remove yourself from the clutches of toxic people, \"the evil one\".

Your daughter is probably showing you anger because she sees you as a safe place to lay her emotions. If she has Asperbers, then the upset in her routine and losing the predictablilty of her home environment is probably very hard on her. Try not to take your daughters resentment personally, it\'s not about you. The best way to help your daughter is to show her that you\'ll love and accept her regardless of what emotions she is going through...that will reassure her that she has stability and help her process what is going on.

I hope you are able to find some peace with all the upheaval in your life. You don\'t deserve it, but you can get through it, you are strong. (((Hugs)))

Shes probably in major major depression and has no clue what she is doing but doing stupid.

She probably has no clue she is depressed - and yes - it seems as if evil is in her - She probably thinks your the cause of all of her problems in shes literally in \"crazytown\" She will probably get better in due time - (shelf life of depression - perhaps 2 years) but it will take time for her to get better - and most likely will destroy everything in the process before she crashes and figures out up from down.

Just know this - its not you and unless she figures out whats giong on - theres nothing u can do - Disengage with her and find someone who deserves you. Someone who hopefully doesnt have a history of \"crazytown\"
