My heart will never get a break!

Im getting ready to head to Colorado tomorrow and my heart just breaks every minute for my mother. I love my mom so much. I have to go to Colorado. I want to go to Colorado, but leaving my mother hurts. When I went off to college there was pain, but I knew that I would be back to see my mom. I know I will get to see her again, but this is a different set of circumstances. It might be "HOLIDAY" visits.
My life is changing and I don't know how to help my mom through this. She is very strong. She never cries, but I cry a lot. I am not strong enough for myself so how am I going to be able to be strong for both of us?
Its not fun.
My heart is torn in at least 6 directions right now.

It\'s tough when things like this run both ways, that I absolutely agree with. So I just want to pop a little question your way: Do you think it might help, since you realize you\'ll be missing your mother, to have some means of staying in touch with her...say a phone number or an e-mail address?

Here\'s why i have that thought...my sister, even though she is married and moved out of the house now, still misses home pretty badly. I can tell because she calls home almost every day, and she\'s looking for mother every time. I don\'t know if you\'d want to call THAT much, but would having that option help?

If there\'s something else you\'d like me to try to help you on with this don\'t be afraid to ask. I might be on orange and red a lot but I still care about my DS friends. :)

Yeah! When I was away at school it helped to call my mom every other day. We only talked for a couple fo minutes, but it was worth it. Its not really me that I am worried about it. I just don\'t want her to get sad or depressed. My father died when I was 5 and all she had was her children. Sometimes I feel like Im more protective of her then she is of me. lol But thanks JP you make me feel better. :)
