My first weekend of many to come

This weekend has been great, not having the distractions of work surrounding us, it was nice to have a lot of one on one connections with my wife.  We spent almost 3 hours saturday night after the kiddos were put to sleep, conducting an intimacy interview.  This is our second one, we did the first around this time last year.  Last year I was dreading it and nervous as hell, but it really helped us find love in each other again.  The tone last night was different, I was actually looking forward to it, its nice to have a "formal" setting without distraction to ask and answer questions that you might not ask otherwise.  We each try to keep our lists around 25-30 questions, most lead to discussions and well thought answers.  Anyone out there who might be having spousal problems due to lying, or spousal problems period, I highly recommend this exercise.  Not all our questions were serious and not all dealt with my problem, they can be about anything you are curious about.  I think we both came away satisfied and relieved in a way.
The kids were behaving exceptionally well this weekend to, so we took them out for a long over due family dinner at a pizza place they had never been too and then topped the night off with ice cream and a movie back at home.
I've been a high of sorts since being welcomed back home, I cant fully explain it but being able to hit your rock bottom and get a chance to pick yourself up again is exhilarating mixed with the feeling of being able to experience something that you thought was gone forever.
I am not a religious man by any account but this week I have truly felt blessed.
