My First Donation!
I got my first donation for my half marathon today! One of my friends from another site sent me $10. I'm so happy, but I can't wait to get more. Once I get to $500, I get a tee shirt. I'm trying to raise $3,600 by December. I would love it if any of you were able to help me. Even 5 or 10 dollars is help. I have a meeting tomorrow with the woman in charge of fundraising. If you want to donate, it's here: http://bit.ly/DYanez Thanks in advance for your help!
Okay, enough of the begging. Today was a good day... I didn't get out for my walk because I'm still feeling sick and all, but Geo and I did go out and have a nice dinner. I went way over my calories (We went to Red Lobster and I got a daquri and endless shrimp) but it was nice. It only cost $32 for the two of us! I weighed in today at 209. I know tomorrow I'm going to be more, but it was worth it. Geo was being cute and teasing me for most of the dinner. Since I had the drink, he kept saying I was tipsy. I don't get tipsy on one drink. I can drink stronger drinks (rum and coke, for example) and it doesn't effect me much. But I only had one drink, and there's plenty of time to it get out of my system before I have to take my meds.
I didn't get much done today. I did change the sheets into some new ones that I got this week, and I like them. Geo says they will take some getting used to. I got the normal cotton 200 thread count, and Geo is used to the jersey (t-shirt) sheets. I'm sure once these get worn in they will feel better. I should add more fabric softener when I wash these. Okay, I'm talking about sheets now... I think that's a sign that I have nothing else to say.
