My expectations
I wrote this earlier this morning right after my hike. I've done all my chores for the day and I'm hunkering down.
I'm not depressed, unhappy or lonely.
My expectations of life are just changing I guess:
I’ve been thinking about how you’ll see a meme or a comment to live your best life. When life is complex and nuanced and a challenge, it can seem easier said and an oversimplified pressure. I love the spirit of those comments/memes though. Even if today is about taking a hike and holding down the fort and doing chores. I certainly still can appreciate life and seize the day!

Those memes can be encouraging sometimes, but not so much at other times. I guess it just depends on where our hear is at the time we read it. Have a good weekend Mark.
Big hug Mark..... I hear you and I have often felt the same.... Life can be hard there is no doubt about it.... I think that we remind ourselves to do the best that we can in these journals.... Sometimes easier said than done
