My Dave is a thinking man - which is good for me!
My Dave is a thinking man, which is good for me. I usually jump into situations. It's nice to be with someone who thinks before he moves. Smokey was a thinker as well. Dave and I have been on the same wave length about sharing one place together. Both of us think it is too soon just yet plus Dave has a responsibility to his room mate Rob as well. If we decide it is it he right thing to do and the right time, Dave will give Rob plenty of notice. It's kind of funny that we were thinking about it but until I mentioned it, Dave never said a word to me. After I brought up the subject, Dave said he was thinking about it as well. The same situation arose with Smokey and myself as well. Smokey was thinking about it but I brought it up. We've been dating for seven months and my grandson is nine months old. Time has a way of flying by that is for certain. I have a job interview this Friday but I have to figure out the bus thing. I have had that darn cough for about 3 weeks now. If it doesn't go away and I still have it on Monday, I will have to see my doctor. My brother Don had it for about 3 weeks as well. I think I got it from him. As family members we share everything including germs. I am enjoying my Excel Level 2 class immensely and have learned so much. It is a wonderful software package that is for sure. I love my teacher and my fellow students. Other than thinking that I will die with this cough, my life is good. It is funny how our lives have changed due to the death of our spouse, partner or love. It is hard to get on with our lives and change with it. Change is hard for most people but when our loved one dies it is the hardest as we want our old life back, which will never happen. We know we are healing when we are ready to move on in our new life without the love of our lives. It is not easy and sometimes we just plain and simply resent that we have to. It's like we are stubborn mules resisting what is inevitable because change is inevitable when we lose our partner, husband, love of our lives etc. We can only take it one day at a time. I know my faith in God, my friends, my family, good people and Daily Strength have been my saving grace. I don't want to lose my contacts on Daily Strength. I know with myself when I am focused on getting my health back or a job or Dave, that I can lose sight of those I want to keep in my life. My apologies. I want to keep you as my Daily Strength friends. These are my thoughts and opinions and thank you for being there for me from Diane Baillie
