My daughter Lisa & Grant got married in Maui, Hawaii on May 18th.
My daughter Lisa and Grant got married in Maui, Hawaii on May 18, 2012. Tyson was there as well. I sure miss Tyson but they will be back on May 30, 2012. I am happy for them. They seem to be getting their act together. I hope I can as well.
I am happy for everyone that has good things happening to them after the loss of their significant other. I hope it will be my turn one day as well. Meanwhile, I keep doing what I am doing which is sending out many resumes per day to get a full-time job either in an office or doing non-office work ( still trying to figure out what I can do in a non-office job). I am still dating Dave. I still have my older brother Don over for lunch many times per week.
I am happy with my new paint job which my younger brother Gerald did.
My cousin Dan painted the base boards and put a new fluorescent light fixture in my kitchen. He replaced the old fluorescent light with a new one. Three weeks ago all four lights went. I don't know what is wrong with it but between my brother Gerald and cousin Dan, they will figure it out. Dave put new bulbs in my hallway light fixtures. I am afraid of heights and would have had to stand on a chair to replace them. There is always something when you live in an apartment or house.
I enjoy summer. It is a nice sunny day this morning at 8:14 a.m. The sunshine always cheers up ones mood that is for sure or it does with me.
I thought I would write as it has been awhile for me. I used to write every day, then once a week and now when I think of it. The heart heals at a slow pace but it does heal. I feel the changes inside of me. I am at a better place than when Smokey died in 2009. Three years have made a difference.

Diane...we have traveled this road together..losing Buddy and Smokey close together. I also am in a better place and don\'t come of DS as often as I use to. I have not dated or met anyone that I care to date. Not that if the right person comes along I would ...my heart is open to loving someone. I don\'t think we are complete without love in our lives. I hope you find a job soon...not an easy task as we get older and even at that the market is coming back way to slow...good luck! Hugs, Ellen
