My dam has burst
Dear DS diary,
It's official: I have basically gone off the deep end from a frustration standpoint. Most recent Facebook posts tell the story:
* I shared a picture I found of kitty humor. It showed a cat laughing and text about it telling a dog that there were Tootsie Rolls in the litter box. Didn't think of my friend who has a dog that I actually care about. Talk about putting my foot in my mouth.
* Or maybe it was both feet: My youngest brother is in a punk band (ever heard of Rat Trap? Didn't think so...), and he played a gig last night. A little before midnight he made a post saying that he realized after his set that he forgot to put deodorant on. I responded: "If nobody took a whiff and dropped dead on the spot as a result, it's all good."
* Then there was the status update I posted at 4am. That's right, 4am. That's when I woke up this morning. I maybe got five hours of sleep. That's been my normal lately, and while I didn't put it this succinctly, I basically conceded that I'm back to square one. I feel that discouraged and that afraid to pull anything out to take an edge off. Not helping is the fact that a particular friend who has been trying to help me with this is a truck driver and has been pinballed around everywhere for the last week and a half; poor girl is so busy she can't really reach me unless she's home pretty much. That's not her fault, of course, but it leaves me cursing my luck.
I can't get my life in order if you put a gun to my head. I feel screwed right now.
