my confession and relief

I was diagnosed w/BP last yr Nov., only after being admitted. I was going through a divorce and my job was giving me hell. I've been on anti -depressants since 2005 Dec. my life seemed to be upside down. 1 moment i'm up the next i'm down. I also believe that "they" diagnosed me too soon w/ BP. the Pdoc in the hospitial told me that because of my eractic behavior and mood swings that i was BP. Okay. she should know best. I was on Lamitical, Depokote and an aniexty pill. I felt that my bad days got worse and my good days were too much.So a month ago I decided not to take them any more. I using positive thinking, techniques i learned in group therapy  and alot of prayer. i have made a point to come to this site a least once a day. talk to one a my closest friends about my feelings. My best friend is my main support and she understands BP and asks me if I need to go back to my meds. No. I don't want to. I want to remember how it felt without meds. I believe that the meds helped when i needed them the most but now my life is not as stress as b 4. the few thimes when i felt a little help i prayed hard and put a logically reason behind the Madness that was occurring. So far So good. I'll keep DS posted.
