My Brother
I had to take my father to a doctor's appointment today. Not a difficult thing but I have told you how I dislike being around my father because he is so negative around me.
It is 9 miles to pick him up and 7 miles to his doctor's office. double that for return. I get to the appointment and find out that it had been changed to some time two months from now. They told me that someone had called and changed it.
I don't know for sure, it may have been the doctor or someone else, but as far as I know the only one who has the authority to change it is me or my brother. So, I'm thinking my brother got a reminder call about the appointment and decided he didn't want to take him and so changed it.
He never told me. Or whoever changed it never notified me.
Ah, another wasted three hours, stress and a reminder, or at least in my thoughts a reminder, that my brother is irresponsible and has no consideration of others.

This is so messed up-sounds like you are going through a very very difficult time with your father, yes it does sound like a struggle, and then this happens. If it was your brother then he is undermining you. Any way that your brother can be relieved of this, so as to relieve you of the added stress of his not doing anything positive to help? I feel for you. You are handling this all on your own.
