I’m thinking about my brother in his life in Athens. I really admire his self regimentation and discipline and his mix of happy things in his life too. When I lived in a city I lived in a routine but soon my seeking pleasure took over. When I lived in studio city I lived in extreme regimentation and had no life but it was effective for keeping in budget and saving. I like how he has balanced the routine he has and the social life he has as well. It’s inspiring. I’m getting back to financial regimentation here. I do miss though getting up in the morning and walking to get a coffee and seeing the same people. I have the time to entertain such thoughts because most of the nuns are sick and so we’re not having services.
Things are good. I suppose I’m just walking down memory lane on the one hand but it's also an awakening and good to remember these things. Have a great weekend!!

Kind of proud about some things here. I am taking the initiative to get things done around here and not just waiting to be asked. It feels good to be proactive,. I know some people want you to be like an object in their world and i can now not get sucked into that. I can wait to ease their insecurities but again I’m still me

I’m learning to assert myself when I need rest. Not just worrying about if I am doing enough. But asserting that some things I need to do are crucial to me. Like not letting Blue be alone for the whole day or getting some rest time for me.
