MY BABY
more bad news. im devistated. yesterday morning i woke up around 6am and had a lot of strong abdominal pain. then i noticed that i was bleeding. right then my mom came out of her room to get ready for work and i told her. so i called my OB and waited for the doctor on call to call me back. i never met him before, but i told him what was going on and he was concerned because even though i had the colposcopy i shouldnt be bleeding from it. and the blood was bright red. so he said it was possible that i was having a miscarriage. i thought he was going to tell me to go to the ER but instead he told me to wait until 8 and call the office and get in and see them there. i got ahold of them at about 8:30 and they told me to go to the ER. so that was a nice waste of 2 hours. they did a whole bunch of things to me...it was very uncomfortable. the bleeding still wouldnt stop, but it wasnt as heavy as earlier. i finally got an ultrasound done and the baby was okay. i started bawling my eyes out because i was SO relieved. especially when they gave me this big picture of one of the ultra sounds. when the doctor came back to see me, he said that i had an acute threatened miscarriage. and that its a 50/50 chance that my baby will make it. so all i can do is wait and pray and just try to stay calm. but i find myself always silently crying to myself because im so scared and worried. the cramps are still there and are strong at times, but it comes and goes. im still bleeding, but its more like spotting right now. its hard to tell exactly how much im bleeding because im wearing a sanitary pad. but when i go to the bathroom i can tell how much im bleeding at the moment. its still bright red, and it looks like there is some tissue with it too. i really really wish everything will be okay.

How far along are you. I am currently 37 weeks, and bled most of my pregnancy. I went to the ER twice (at like 12 weeks then again at like 17 weeks) and both times I was told it was a threatened miscarriage. Like I said, I have bled almost the whole pregnancy (with some reprieve here in the home stretch), I have been to many doctors and specialists and they are unable to find the exact reason for the bleeding, but the good news is that the baby has been blissfully unphased the entire time , and is doing great, bigger than average for its gestation. So keep your hopes up. Also I had a lot of intemittent cramping, which turned out to be round ligamment pains. Keep your head up.
take care and hang in there babe, hope for the best. we all want your baby to grow and thrive. try to stay relaxed and not over do your body with stress. do not feel guilty, this is not your fault... hang in there babe, i\'m always here if you need to vent or a shoulder to cry on...
I had some minor spotting too at the beginning of my pregnancy and it totally freaked me out, (I have a prior miscarriage)But I am now almost 32 weeks and still going strong. You just have to keep your head up and dont lose hope that things will be ok..I know its very hard, but you can do it..take care

I\'ll be praying for you! Miscarriage is a scary ordeal, and I know it\'s easier said than done, but relax. Stress and worry will raise your chances of a miscarriage. Picture yourself blissfully laying on a beach under an umbrella with your baby playing in the tide making castles smiling, laughing, carefree, happy, and 100% healthy!
Again sweets I\'ll be praying for you, I think God led me to your post! God Bless dear- and please please please REST RECOOP & RELAX!!!!
I hope you have a healthy baby. Stay strong & try not to stress if you are (for your baby\'s sake)... Im here for you if you need me... ((HUGS))
